James Scott Fargason

Co-Founder/CFO

Professor Fargason is a licensed attorney and CPA. He has served on faculty at three research universities including LSU, the University of Alabama, and the University of Miami. He has taught for the Department of Finance, the Law School, the MBA Program, and the Department of Accounting in the areas of law, external auditing, internal auditing, accounting, and finance. Fargason is an eight-time winner of MBA Teacher of the Year.

Fargason studied finance, accounting, and law before earning his LLM from Tulane University in International and Comparative Law, which included studies at the University of Siena in Italy. He has written articles and books on process improvement and expense reduction, including a book by the lIA Research Foundation on Intellectual Property.

Fargason has also worked for industry in the areas of financial accounting, operational auditing, evaluating legal counsel performance, corporate compliance, governance, commercial litigation, risk management, valuation, tax, and intellectual property. Organizations that have engaged Fargason include Microsoft, Chase, IBM, Driscoll’s, Ford, Dow, LinkedIn, Brunswick, the State of Montana, the State of Texas, Saudi Aramco, Nestle, and General Motors. He continues to give legal and strategic advice to organizations of all sizes.
Fargason is a partner of Smalls Holding, LLC which owns Smalls Sliders, a concept the ownership plans to take internationally. Smalls was recently named in the Inc. Magazine Top 5,000 of privately held companies. He recently partnered with Joey Coco to create Digi Twin Global, LLC which aspires to be the global leader in digital twin best practices. Fargason regularly provides leadership and strategic advice to large companies, family-owned businesses, and startups.

Dr. Malay Ghose Hajra

Dr. Malay Ghose Hajra has more than 25 years of experience in geotechnical, foundation, and forensic engineering. He combines professional, consulting, and academic expertise to solve complex engineering problems. As Chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New Orleans, he teaches courses in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and coastal engineering. He helps students connect theory to real-world projects through hands-on analysis and design.

Dr. Ghose Hajra holds professional engineering licenses in six states and is a Board-Certified Geotechnical Engineer. He has worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Transportation, and private firms on major infrastructure projects. His research focuses on soil behavior, levee stability, erosion control, and data analytics in civil engineering. He also co-authored Digital Twins: The Next Frontier of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure (ASCE, 2025). He remains active in ASCE, the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.
